Banned Books Week (BBW) celebrates the freedom to choose or the freedom to express one’s opinion even if that opinion might be considered unorthodox or unpopular and stresses the importance of ensuring the availability of those unorthodox or unpopular viewpoints to all who wish to read them.

Don’t forget to register to Vote!

Just a reminder that in order to vote in the 2008, November 4th Presidential Election Leon County residents must register by October 6th.

In order to help educate the Tallahassee community on our current Presidential candidates, TCC will be hosting a Wednesday night series on Presidential Elections Past and Present during the month of October. Celebrating Constitution Day

From the Library of Congress Constitution Day webpage...

On September 17, 1787, the final draft of the Constitution was signed by 39 delegates. The document was then sent to the states for ratification, and went into effect on June 21, 1788 when New Hampshire became the ninth state to ratify the Constitution.
