I think Hispanic Heritage month is one of the more important parts of this month, however. I think it's a great time for Hispanics to come together and celebrate their accomplishments and influences with each other. It's also a good time to become aware of what we're doing and what we COULD be doing. For example, did you know that there's still 32.1% of Hispanics who are without health care? Granted this number is going down, but still.
Recently, influential Hispanic, Cristina Saralegui has joined forces with AARP to give a voice to Hispanics when it comes to health care.
Here's more!
